VACUUM PUMPS

Pumps are manufactured as two types: dry and grease pumps. Kurtsan uses the grease vacuum pump that it manufactures.

Vacuum pump is really important for milking parlour.

• Its main mission is to discharge the air from milking parlour. Vacuum pump’s capacity should supply all used device’s total vacuum consumption. 

• The vacuum pump’s use depends on the number of animals.
• Milking parlour has the pushing power. So, consider the vacuum’s reliablity is important.
• Safety cage situated in the vacuum pump avoids injuries.
• Electric motor should be used (380 V Triphase).

Vacuum Line: Main vacuum and pulsation line should be made of PVC. The speed of vacuum in the vacuum lines should be regulated to keep the same value in every point. They will be linked with the pipe line in the milking pit.

Pump Type: The vaccuum pump works with oil. The grease cup should be situated in the pump. Oil level should be followed up carefully in this cup. Greasing is done automatically with the oil which is collected in there. The pump should be greased with new grease for the effective usage and good performance.

Vacuum Tank: It protects the pump from the damages caused by liquid or solid particles. It balances the vacuum. It should be used near the vacuum pump. There is a valve on the top of the vacuum pump’s exhaust which allows the pump to contain the air. Also, there is a vacuum meter reachable for the milker to adjust the vacuum speed accordingly. The size of the vacuum tank should be compatible to that of the vacuum pump.
